McDonald’s taught me a lot about efficient thinking, art, copy, and the power of a strong brand.

TAKEOFF TAKEOVER

Portland International Airport (PDX) was opening a McDonald’s. Airport related signage was a good way to encourage the hungry travelers.

This takeover was so successful, the McDonalds’s was slammed, other vendors complained, and the airport changed its rules about marketing. That’s good, right?
